In August 1959 I enlisted in the Army for three years. When I got to Fort Carson, Colo., we were housed in barracks that were used during WWII.
The bathroom had a trough for a urinal, and on the wall were 10 general orders. We were told to read them whenever we used the urinal.
Someone put one more on the wall, and it covered all the others. “Walk your post from flank to flank and take no ‘s---’ from any rank.”
