The Sebastian Area Veteran Honor Guard (comprising American Legion Post 189 Family members and VFW Post 10210), along with the American Legion Riders Chapters 189 and 39, laid to rest Pvt. William Hurst (U.S. Army), who was captured by the Japanese and wounded during the infamous Bataan Death March. He succumbed to the wounds and died while in captivity. Recently, his body was found (using DNA) by the DPAA and brought home to Winter Beach, Fla.
