Missouri City (Texas) Post 294 was featured in the recent winter issue of the Missouri City Citizens newsletter.

It features members of Post 294 who provided the honor guard at the Veterans Thanksgiving Luncheon last Nov. 16, 2024.

The annual luncheon is sponsored by the Universally Made organization, headed up by Post 294 member Ferrel Bonner.

The Thanksgiving luncheon is open to all veterans and is also attended by Missouri City Mayor Robin Elackatt and many other city officials, Including City Manager Angel Jones, who is herself a veteran.

In addition to the great lunch, Universally Made arranges for several service organizations to be present and available to veterans.
