American Legion Post 364 Memorial Day Ceremony

364 - WOODBRIDGE, VA

American Legion Post 364 in Woodbridge, Va., held a Memorial Day ceremony prior to our annual picnic. Our outgoing chaplain, Ron Dionne, provided an impassioned speech and benediction. The newly elected chaplain, Fred Bullock, provided the opening prayer. The Auxiliary President, Jessica Wangner, recited the poem, "In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae. The ceremony ended with a presentation of a heart-shaped wreath by Chaplain Dionne's grandson and the playing of taps by Legion member Donelle Saunders.

Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, their families and the community enjoyed a wonderful buffet of picnic foods after the ceremony.

Chaplain Ron Dionne's benediction.
