American Legion post cares for city’s flags

Twisp, WA

Methow Valley American Legion Post 143, with the permission of the mayor and the city council, has assumed responsibility for the flags of the town of Twisp, Wash.
The first flag to be replaced and get a new rope was at the end of Glover Street. The flag will soon have a light at night so it is displayed properly.
The first salute was by 1st Vice Commander William (Skinny) Robinson.
Next will be the flag at Twisp Park. Keep an eye out for an announcement soon.
