Connecticut's 3rd District teams with Stew Leonard's to bring 1,600 meals to veterans, Blue and Gold Star Families

Stew Leonard's, a dairy store unique to Connecticut and New York, prepared, packaged and boxed 1,600 meals to give out to veterans, Gold and Blue Star Families: BBQ chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, macaroni and potato salad, baked beans and rolls. With the help of American Legion Posts 60 in Danbury, 12 in Norwalk, 63 in Westport, 140 in Bridgeport and 143 in Fairfield and VFW Post 399 in Westport, we were able to get these meals to some vets and their families who do not get out much, as well as families of those deployed and Gold Star Families as well.
