"Never Home: Remembering the Military Heroes Who Never Returned" honors the men and women who died in World War I and World War II and who are interred in America's overseas military cemeteries. From Normandy to Manila, Luxembourg to Tunisia, Florence to England and many places in between, professional photographer and Navy veteran, Richard Sherman, took eight trips to three continents over six years to photograph all 23 cemeteries from the world wars. The book includes more than 225 photos and more than 50 biographies to help us remember the more than 207,000 individuals who never made it home. The foreword of the book was written by retired Vice Adm. Doug Crowder, the former commander, U.S. 7th Fleet.
