Foundation 14 was founded in October 2016 to honor American military veterans and their service to our country. The foundation provides a resource for our heroes who have a passion for motorcycles. Riding is proven to have a positive impact on mental health, mood and reduction of stress. Foundation 14 is an organization dedicated to making riding more accessible to those seeking an alternative solution to manage combat-related post-traumatic stress.
With a long history between the two, riding provides veterans with a benefit beyond that which words can describe, and so it is Foundation 14's privilege to serve those who have served for us. This organization is able to provide tangible benefits to veterans, so they may make custom modifications to allow disabled veterans to ride once again or help veterans who have a passion for riding but need assistance to make it a reality. The foundation is committed to providing our veterans with a healthy freedom many take for granted each day.
Foundation 14 works with other organizations to provide support and resources. They work alongside both veteran and non-veteran businesses and organizations, as well as within the local communities, to see the mission grow and succeed.
ALR Chapter 593 participated in the Foundation 14 Freedom Ride and presented the foundation with a donation to their cause. Paul Goymerac, Chapter 593 director, was presented with the 2024 Veteran Honoree plaque for all he does for veterans.
