Burley Lyle R. Morton Post 17 held a Veterans Day ceremony in downtown Burley at Centennial Park, followed by a potluck lunch for veterans and their families. It was a beautiful November day and the turnout was amazing. We had veterans from several posts, to include the District 5 commander and his wife. We even had a couple of veterans who have never joined a post, who were invited to our monthly meeting. Everyone enjoyed seeing old friends and making new friends on this 2017 Veterans Day celebration.
