American Legion Family members and a few others, all respecting COVID-19 distance restrictions and braving cool temperatures, spent the morning of Saturday, March 28, putting up flags along Main Street in Townsend to show unity, patriotism and help emphasize Montana strong. The American Legion got a lift as well with new brackets, poles and flags. The Legionnaires don't normally put up the Main Street flags until Memorial Day, but business owners asked us if we could do it earlier and our American Legion supporters enthusiastically complied.
Thank you to all our helpers and those businesses who help fund our 40 Main Street flags..
Blessings,
