On Wednesday, Feb. 12, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) welcomed Arizona Secretary of State and former Marine Adrian Fontes and some of his staff. The discussion centered on next year's 250th birthday of our country. Several of the proposed events leading up to it were discussed, including an oratorical competition. After about 45 minutes of covering everything involved, the discussion turned to all the activities of our post. It was a great time for everyone involved before he had to get to his next meeting at the Peoria Chamber of Commerce. All parts of the 62 Family were involved in the meeting.
