Cpl. Albert Haddad Post 88 in Lake Dallas, Texas, raised over $5,000 to provide 100 care packages that were shipped to troops for Christmas. They included sicks, hygiene items, coffee and many other comfort items such as chips, cookies and sweets.
This was their second shipment, the first provided care packages for 60 troops.
This collaborative effort included Legionnaires, Auxiliary and SAL members along with assistance from the post's Legion Riders program and local community citizens.
