Even though the MapMyRide app was keeping track, I added the numbers incorrectly in my previous entry. My original goal was to ride my bike 300 miles in this project … and I achieved that today with a total of 304.81 miles ridden. I have lost a couple of pounds, but the best part is that my VA doctor confirmed this past Tuesday that my A1C blood count is now right smack in the middle of the normal range. My thanks to The American Legion for this program and its goals … and for the motivation to improve my health and long-term well-being. My mantra really is … feeling great at 78!
