4.11.2024 The Dover, Tenn., Post 72 American Legion Family is proud to announce our 2024 Stewart County, Tennessee American Legion Boys State and the American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State candidates.
Tennessee American Legion Boys State (at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville) is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students. This year, Boys State is an interactive program where each delegate participates in local, county and state government education and activities.
The American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State (at Lipscomb University in Nashville) empowers Tennessee's promising young women to become and remain civically engaged leaders through experiential learning and relevant, inspiring growth opportunities.
