SAN ANTONIO – (Nov. 19, 2024) – During the monthly general membership meeting of Fred Brock American Legion Post 828, Post Commander Burrell Parmer presented the mayor of San Antonio, the Hon. Ron Nirenberg, with a plaque of appreciation for Nirenberg’s service as mayor of Military City USA. Nirenberg, a Texas Boys State alum, was first elected as mayor in 2017 and was re-elected to a fourth and final term on May 6, 2023. “We wanted to show our appreciation for the dedicated and honorable service our mayor has given us,” said Parmer, who serves on the City of San Antonio’s Veterans Advisory Commission for District 2. “He is a prime example of a professional and we will truly miss him once he leaves office.” The mission of Fred Brock Post 828 is to enhance the well-being of San Antonio’s veterans, their families, the military, and the community by its devotion to mutual helpfulness. Fred Brock Post 828 honors mayor of Military City USA

SAN ANTONIO – (Nov. 19, 2024) – During the monthly general membership meeting of Fred Brock American Legion Post 828, Post Commander Burrell Parmer presented the mayor of San Antonio, the Hon. Ron Nirenberg, with a plaque of appreciation for Nirenberg’s service as mayor of Military City USA.

Nirenberg, a Texas Boys State alum, was first elected as mayor in 2017 and was re-elected to a fourth and final term on May 6, 2023.
