On June 1, 2024, John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria, Ariz., presented their Americanism Award to Peoria's Lowe's for their veteran discounts and veterans-only parking area. Each month, the post selects a Peoria business that supports the post and/or veterans. The Publicity Committee, made up of all parts of our family, meets and discusses multiple options each month on who receives the award. This is our fourth award given. Previous winners include Walmart, Cigna and Chick-fil-A. We are honored to support those who support veterans in our community.
