Madeline Watson is a senior at Marian High School in Mishawaka, Ind. She won the American Legion Department of Indiana Zone 1 High School Oratorical Contest held Feb. 2 at Whiting Post 80 in Whiting, Ind. James Grauvogl, High School Oratorical Contest department chairman, was the moderator of the contest.
Madeline was sponsored by Charles Pratt Post 94. Next she will participate in the Department of Indiana state finals in Indianapolis.
