American Legion Post 116 in Fuquay-Varina is hosting a donation drive to help those in western North Carolina affected by the flooding. We have already sent out items in two deliveries. We were able to team up with some other local groups sending items as well. The first delivery is on its way to Raeford with US Veterans Corps to be flown in to those groups in need, and one was helping a local church fill an 18-wheeler with items to be driven over today,
We will be having a continuous drop-off setup with a storage trailer on site at Post 116.
