War Memorial Post 30, Camden, Maine Vietnam Veteran & Vietnam Era Luncheon

Camden, ME

On March 29th, Post 30 held its annual luncheon to recognize Vietnam and Vietnam Era veterans. Veterans and guests enjoyed a ham luncheon topped off with a wonderful Welcome Home Cake.
Post Commander Dave Franclemont acted as MC and provided all with some poignant remarks about his tours in Vietnam.

The event began and ended with wonderful prayers by Post 30 Chaplain Stephanie McLain. The POW/MIA Remembrance Table meaning was read to all by Post 30 Americanism Officer Scott Bergey.

The luncheon finished with opening the floor to Veterans who wished to speak after which all stood and rendered respect during the playing of TAPS.

All appreciated the day and asked that the Post continue these types of gatherings with promises they would get their friends and fellow Vietnam Veterans to the next event.
