This year, I celebrate my 50th year as a Legionnaire. Throughout those many years, I have had some great memories and “proud moments," but Sunday, July 21, 2024, was one of the proudest moments of all. I got to present colors at the KC Royals with two of my Legionnaire grandsons, Noah (Army, home on leave from Korea) and Taylor Lindburg (recently discharged combat medic in the Army), my SAL son-in-law Chris Lindburg and Airborne Maj. Tom Stockdale, the officer that swore them into the Army. I just couldn’t be more proud!
