Prince George, VA – American Legion Post 1703 in Prince George, Va., is buzzing with excitement as it welcomes its newly appointed officers for the 2024-2025 term. This new leadership team is poised to continue the post’s proud tradition of service to veterans and the community.
At the helm is newly elected Post Commander Willie Louis Lee Jr., whose dedication and leadership are expected to guide the post to new heights. Joining him is Dr. Le'one Marie Lee, who will serve as both adjutant and finance officer, bringing her expertise and commitment to these crucial roles.
The leadership team also includes Verlon Farris as first vice commander, Morris Starks as chaplain and Genita Ruffin as sergeant-at-arms. Their combined experience and passion for service will undoubtedly strengthen the post’s efforts.
Additionally, Valerie Hayes has been appointed First Year Committee Person, William Cayson as Second Year Committeeman and Thomas Colquitt as judge advocate. Each of these officers brings a unique set of skills and a shared dedication to the mission of The American Legion.
