On Sunday, July 21, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) celebrated the life of Walter "Wally" Hartle. He recently passed but had been a longtime member of Post 62 after having served in the Army. An avid pool player, he was liked by many. With full honor guard attendance including colors, rifles and a bugler participating, it made an amazing entrance to the event. Past Commander McClain was acting chaplain and conducted the service. A big crowd of family and friends were in attendance. It is always hard to send a fellow member to Post Everlasting - lots of emotions involved.
